ODOT lists highway projects for week

LIMA — District 1 of the Ohio Department of Transportation has released its weekly report on construction and maintenance projects ongoing this week. Area projects include the following:

Van Wert County

  • Ohio 81, at the Ohio 49 intersection, will be restricted through the work zone for a slope repair project. Van Wert County ODOT is doing the work.
  • Ohio 49 at the Mercer County line, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for a ditch project. Van Wert County ODOT is performing the work.
  • U.S. 30, from Middle Point-Wetzel Road to Fifth Street in Delphos, is reduced to one lane through the work zone for a resurfacing project.. Work to be completed by early November. Shelly Company of Findlay is doing the work.
  • Ohio 118 (Shannon Street), between Ervin Road and Main Street, remains open to local traffic only during reconstruction. Traffic will continue to be restricted at times through November for traffic signal work. Shelly Company of Findlay is performing the work.

Paulding County

  • Sealing of pavement cracks will take place at the following locations, with traffic maintained through the work zone. Paulding County ODOT is performing the work:
  • Ohio 49, south of Payne
  • Ohio 66 south of Oakwood
  • U.S. 127 south of U.S. 24
  • Ohio 111, between County Township  Road 119 and Township Road 121, is now open.

Putnam County

  • Ohio 65, between the Allen County line and Columbus Grove, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for drainage repair. Putnam County ODOT is doing the work.
  • Ohio 190, near Township Road T-23, will be restricted at times through the work zone for drainage repair. Putnam County ODOT is performing the work.
  • Ohio 12 in Columbus Grove in the southwest portion of the village is closed October 17 for four weeks for a sewer replacement project. Traffic detoured onto Ohio 65, U.S. 224 and Ohio 235 back to Ohio 12. Stillion Brothers Excavating is performing the work.
  • Ohio 189, at the intersection of U.S. 224 in Ottoville to County Road 18 in Rimer, is restricted to one lane through the work zone for resurfacing. The project will continue through October. Bluffton Paving is doing the work.
