Besse C. Adams

Besse C. Adams, 87, of Van Wert, died at 4:40 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2011, at Hearth & Home in Van Wert.

She was born July 28, 1923, in Paulding County, the daughter of the late Clyde and Loma (Endsley) McClure. She married Rudy Z. Adams, who preceded her in death on August 19, 2010.

Survivors include three children, Gregg (Barbara) Adams and Angela Tomlinson, both of Van Wert, and Brock (Beth Kroeger) Adams of Grover Hill; a sister, Marilyn Lytle of Grover Hill; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Beth Ann Adams; and one sister, Antha Rose Thompson, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 2, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill.

Calling hours are from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. Sunday, May 1, at the funeral home.
