Lancer JV softball team beats Jeffcats

The Lancer junior varsity softball team hosted the Wildcats from Delphos Jefferson on Thursday.

Lancer hurler Courtney Gorman earned the victory, going five innings and giving up two earned runs on six hits.  She struck out 10 while walking six.  Lincolnview won the contest 14-3.

Leading hitters for the Lancers were: Ashley McClure with three hits and two runs scored, Sarah Harris collected three RBI on two base hits.  Four other hitters collected a hit apiece, while six players scored two runs.

The Lancers will host the Raiders of Wayne Trace today at the Lancer Athletic Complex.
