Van Wert Police

February 26, 2:02 a.m. – Shane A. Carroll, 20, of 711 E. Main St., was charged with underage consumption when police officers noted he was drinking alcohol during an investigation into a fight at Hire’s Pub & Grill in Van Wert.

February 26, 12:22 a.m. – John W. Harvey, 19, of Antwerp, was cited for operating a vehicle while impaired and underage consumption as a result of a traffic stop in the 100 block of East Sycamore Street. A  passenger in Harvey’s vehicle, was cited for underage consumption and possession of marijuana.

February 24, 10:28 a.m. – Candace E. Knapp, 64, of 208 N. Franklin St. was charged with domestic violence as a result of an incident that occurred at her residence.
