Cougar soccer team beats Cory-Rawson

Van Wert opened the 2019 soccer season with a 3-1 win over visiting Cory-Rawson on Saturday.

Gabe Steyer, Cody Gamble and Christian Eberle scored goals for the Cougars, with assists provided by Asnake Steyer, Keaton Brown and Serafin Hernandez.

Van Wert (1-0) will play at Ottoville today.
