State champion!

In her first trip to the OHSAA State Track and Field Tournament at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus, Van Wert High School junior Kirsten Clay won the Division II state championship in the discus throw with a toss of 145-08, over five feet better than the nearest competitor.
