Nominations needed for final award

The spring sports season’s final Van Wert independent/Northwest Ohio Welch Trophy Student Athlete of the Week will be featured this Friday.

All area coaches and athletic directors are encouraged to send nominations to sports@thevwindependent.com by 12 p.m. on Tuesday.

The popular feature will return in time for the 2019 fall sports season.
