Nominations are being accepted for this week’s Van Wert independent/Northwest Ohio Welch Trophy Student Athlete of the Week.

All area high school coaches and athletic directors may submit nominations to sports@thevwindependent.com. Nominations must be received by 12 p.m. on Tuesday.

One name will be chosen and the winner will be featured on the Sports page.
