Twig groups have picnic meeting in June

Twig I and II members met for a trip/picnic theme gathering on June 11 at the Community Health Professionals Building on Westwood Drive in Van Wert.

Members were greeted by Kathy Keysor and her committee, Sandy Amundson, Corrine Mowry, Beverlee Profit, Sharon Witten, Janet Merkle, and Nancy Wolverton. Twig II Chairman Beverlee Profit welcomed special guests Twig I and Twig II members. A delicious picnic lunch was served after the invocation was given by Profit.

Linda Stanley, program presenter and emcee shared “Tips for Trips.” Did you know you can use a straw to keep your necklace from tangling in your suitcase? Using plastic bags to store liquids in your luggage is another tip. Stanley had many great ideas for the club’s travels.

Joy McCleery provided the games. Members had a rousing time playing “What’s in your bag?” and United States trivia. Fifteen lucky women won the door prizes.
