DAR meeting guests

Skyla Menke and Gabby Emerick, who both attended Buckeye Girls State in June 2017, recently spoke to members and guests of Isaac Van Wart Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, about the activities in which they participated at the mock government program. Both experienced government education, met dignitaries, and developed friendships during the week. DAR members also voted to co-sponsor a Buckeye Girls State delegate from Van Wert County this year. The next DAR meeting will be at 6 p.m. Monday, April 9, at West End Restaurant in Decatur, Indiana. Guests are welcome to attend. DAR photo
