Jackie Sue Foster

Jackie Sue Foster, 16, of Wapakoneta, passed away surrounded by her loving family at 4:42 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.

She was born March 15, 2001, in Van Wert.

She is survived by her mother, Vickie S. Foster of Wapakoneta; a brother, Jordan Foster of Wapakoneta; her grandmother, Janet L. Foster of Wapakoneta; an uncle, Ronald Foster, of Wapakoneta; one aunt, Connie (Doug) Leffel of St. Marys; two cousins; and a great-aunt and great-uncle.

Her paternal grandfather, Eugene W. Foster, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Wapakoneta Baptist Church, with the Rev. Phillip DeLorme officiating. Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.

Visitation is from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, at the church.
