Jimmie Dale Lindeman

Jimmie Dale Lindeman, 68, of Ohio City, died surrounded by his family at 6:40 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

He was born October 26, 1949, in Delphos, the son of Edwin and Lela (Putman) Lindeman, who both preceded him in death. He married Susan (Agler) Lindeman and she survives of Ohio City.

Other survivors include six children, Tammy (Charles) Cummings of Fort Jennings, Mandy (Dewayne) Mottinger of Van Wert, Jesse (Amie) Lindeman of Delphos, Audree (Jason) Markward of Ottoville, Lae(Michelle) Brown II of Venedocia, and Justic (Donna Rowe) Brown of Ohio City; 21 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Gerald (Kaye) Lindeman and Larry Lindeman, both of Delphos.

Five brothers, Carl, Donald, Edwin, Kenneth and Paul Lindeman; and six sisters, Imogene Joseph, JoAnn Roberts, Dorothy Williams, Marilyn Martin, Donna Williamson and Carol Maloney, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Randy Bevington officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Monday, March 5, and an hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
