Wassenberg to have Valentine’s Day party

Wassenberg Art Center will be having a Vintage Velvet Valentine’s Day Party this Saturday, February 17, from 8 p.m. until midnight, at the art center, 214 S. Washington St. in Van Wert.

The party will feature Distant Cousinz, a popular Toledo band last heard at Wassenberg during the Town Creek Live celebration in 2017 that will provide dance music.

The party will include dancing, appetizers, fortunes told by the mysterious Cloud Max, a cash bar, and some wonderful surprises. Those attending are asked “flash their fash” by wearing something velvet.

Tickets are on sale now at Wassenberg Art Center. Singles are $25 ($20 for Wassenberg members), $43 a couple ($38 for Wassenberg members), or $200 for a private table for eight (includes complimentary bottle of wine).
