VW wrestlers fall to Wapakoneta

WAPAKONETA — Isaiah Bretz (138), Dale Hammons (182) and Lloyd Eutsler (195) pinned their opponents, but the Van Wert Cougars fell 45-30 at Thursday’s dual wrestling match at Wapakoneta.

Van Wert’s Gabe Steyer (132), Ryan Pratt (152) each won by forfeit.

The Cougars will wrestle at the Harding Classic at Marion Harding December 29 and 30.
