Crestview completes state testing

By Nick Henry

End of course exams are mostly complete at Crestview High School. With testing going on, the senior class got a small delay on May 1 and 2. For the underclassmen who no longer have to pass the OGTs, these exams are extremely important. These exams are so important because instead of passing OGTs, they must accumulate points from their end of course exams and have at least 18 points to graduate. Students have been working hard to earn as many points as possible this year.

The Crestview High School Fun Day is coming up and is planned for Monday, May 8. Fun Day activities include tug of war, watermelon eating contest, a relay, and other activities. In tug of war there are guys, girls, and co-ed teams. The guy teams will face each other, along with the girls, so it is a fair playing field. In the relay, it is each grade versus another grade, such as seniors versus juniors.

The Crestview varsity baseball team is undefeated in league play with an 11-4 record overall. The team has been rolling through NWC play and will look to continue its success in an upcoming game against Delphos Jefferson. While the Crestview baseball team has been doing well, the varsity softball team has been on a roll for their last few games too. The Lady Knights are now 4-2 in the NWC, but have struggled in out-of-league play with a 9-10 overall record. Go Knights!
