James D. Bryan

James D. Bryan, 81, of Delphos, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017, at his residence, surrounded by his family.

He was born February 17, 1936, in Delphos, the son of Harley and Nina (Hershey) Bryan, who both preceded him in death. On January 7, 1956, he married the former Patricia A. King, who died August 21, 2015.

Survivors include a son, Rodney J. (Vickie) Bryan of Spencerville; three daughters, Kathleen M. Bryan of Delphos, Laura A. (Chuck) Peters of Cloverdale, and Robin D. (Ronald) Caudill of Lima; one sister, Mary Neuman of Delphos; three grandchildren; and four great-grandsons.

Three brothers, Roy, Kenneth, and Paul Bryan, and two sisters, Leota Rybicki and Ruby Bryan, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, at First Assembly of God Church in Delphos. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos.

Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, and an hour prior to services at the church.
