Walk for Life donors

The Pregnancy Life Center’s Walk for Life is coming up at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 11, in Fountain Park in Van Wert. This is the center’s largest fundraiser, bringing in more than half of its annual budget. In addition, the PLC is currently in the process of becoming a medical clinic to provide Ultrasounds and STD testing as a free service to the community. This new endeavor will increase the annual budget by another $35,000. The PLC is 100 percent locally funded by individuals, fundraisers, and business and church giving. The following businesses and churches are $300 Walk for Life sponsors and helped raise $22,000 for walk and center expenses: Pastor Chad Strabbing, St. Paul’s Reformed Church of America; Whitney Sealscott, Sealscott CPA; Pastor Clark Williman, Calvary Evangelical Church; Brooke Meyer, Leland Smith Insurance; Beth Cook, John Cook Family Dentistry; Sharla and John Thompson, Water on Wheels; Kelly Keysor, PLC teen coordinator; Glendene VanLandingham, Pleasant Chapel United Methodist Church, and Zane Germann, Van Wert Memorials.
