Terry Lee Rickard

Terry Lee Rickard, 63, of Grover Hill, passed away at 10:02 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born December 15, 1952, in Van Wert, the son of Glenn Myrle Rickard and Ethel (O’Daffer) Taylor, who both preceded him in death.

Survivors include a son, R. Andrew Rickard of Grover Hill; a daughter, Patricia (Jim) Jenkins of Maricopa, Arizona; a brother, Donald (Darlene) Rickard of Pleasanton, California; five sisters, Shirley Ann Clark of Ohio City, Bonnie (John) Shaffer of Van Wert, Sandra (Richard) Shrank of Bristow, Virginia, Phyllis (Phil) Etzler of Convoy, and Debbie Hire of Van Wert; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A brother, Harold Dean Rickard; and one brother-in-law, Bobbie Jack Clark, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Don Clinger officiating. Burial will be in Tomlinson Cemetery in Mercer County.

Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Friday, July 22, and an hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
