Elks give to MSVW

Van Wert Lodge 1197, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, recently made a donation to Main Street Van Wert (MSVW) to help purchase American flags for the city’s downtown area. The lodge’s Veterans Committee made the donation. MSVW has been raising funds to purchase 40 full new sets of American flags and flagpoles to wave from lampposts in downtown Van Wert. The new flagpoles have a lifetime guarantee against bending or breaking, and it is nearly impossible for the flags to tangle or wrap around the poles.
