Rabbit show

The Bunny Hoppers 4-H Club and the Van Wert Youth Rabbit Club held their annual “Fun Rabbit Show” last weekend at the fairgrounds. Youths from the entire area were invited to show rabbits, learn more about showing rabbits, and practice their rabbit handling skills. In addition, the kids competed in a rabbit showmanship contest. There were 13 breeds of rabbits shown. This year, there was a tie for Best in Show between Austin Bockrath’s Florida White, and Evelyn Lamb’s New Zealand (shown above). Showmanship winners were Ella Lamb, and Grace Mayes. (photo submitted)
