Deputies from the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office responded to a robbery in progress at the gas station-convenience store  at approximately 9 p.m. Saturday.

According to the two employees who were inside at the time of the robbery attempt, a man came into the convenience store and demanded all the money. Employees said the man never displayed a weapon. As employees hesitated, the man suddenly turned and ran from the store. Nothing was taken from the store and no one was injured in the robbery attempt.

The suspect is described as a white male approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall, wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt,  blue jeans, and brown work boots and had a black ball cap with a light colored bill on his head, and a black bandana over his face.

After he ran from the store, he was seen getting into what appeared to be a black Ford Focus and drove west on Paulding County Road 138. No one else was apparently in the car.
