Sheriff’s project donation

Van Wert County Sheriff Tom Riggenbach has recently undertaken a major project to upgrade the department’s computer infrastructure and replace computer equipment at the Sheriff’s Office and Correctional Facility. The project includes purchase of a new server, up-to-date software, and connectivity with all equipment between the two buildings. These upgrades will also provide a significant increase in storage and security of electronic data, while providing the ability to expand to meet the future electronic needs of the Sheriff’s Office. Van Wert County Prosecuting Attorney Charles Kennedy donated $7,000 to the project from his Furtherance of Justice Fund. Shown receiving the donation from Kennedy (right) is Sheriff Tom Riggenbach.
