Man sought in Paulding woman’s death

PAULDING — Police are searching for a “person of interest” in the death of a 21-year-old woman whose body was found in a Paulding apartment on Tuesday evening.

According to Paulding Police Department news release, the body of Hannah Fischer was found inside an apartment at 119 W. Perry St., Apt. C, in Paulding at approximately 5 p.m. Tuesday.

According to the release, crime scene investigators from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation were brought in process the apartment for clues in the case.

Fischer’s body was apparently found when an apartment manager went to the apartment to collect overdue rent.

Her body has been removed to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office so that an autopsy can be performed.
