Man sought in Paulding woman’s death

PAULDING — The Paulding Police Department has issued a warrant for a suspect in the death of a 21-year-old woman found dead in an apartment in the village.

According to a police department news release, a warrant has been issued for Frank H. Tracy Jr., 47, of Paulding charging him with murder in the death of Hannah Fischer.

The news release describes Tracy as a white male, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair.

Fischer’s body was discovered in an apartment at 119 W. Perry St. in Paulding this past Tuesday. The woman, a former Montpelier resident, was apparently beaten to death, although her body has been taken to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office, where an autopsy will be performed.

Crime scene investigators from the Ohio Attorney General’s Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation were also called to the apartment to seek physical evidence in the case.
