Katherine M. Burk

Kathleen M. “Casey Sue” Burk, 71, of Van Wert, died at 3:17 a.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Van Wert Manor.

She was born April 5, 1944, in Rockford, the daughter of Harry and Bertha (Daughtery) Beougher, who both preceded her in death.

Survivors include two children, Shawn (Renee) Burk of Ohio City and Christina (Mark) Nowak of Grover Hill; a brother, Frank (Alice) Beougher of Coldwater; six sisters, Mary Lou Thorson of Illinois, Marilyn Kline, and Eileen West, all of Van Wert, Linda (Marvin) Fosnough of Indiana, Shirley Sutton of Van Wert, and Janell (Larry) Williams of Wapakoneta; and three grandchildren.

Two brothers, Raymond and Dan Beougher; and her twin sister, Katherine Beougher, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with Wayne Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery at a later date.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 Monday, February 15, at the funeral home.
