“Patient” is the VWES Word of the Week

Congratulations to the Van Wert Elementary School Students chosen for the Word of the Week award. Pictured with Mr. Gehres, Principal, and Mr. Krogman, Assistant Principal, are students chosen by their teachers for being patient and willing to wait for others. Award winners this week are Leah, grade 1; Jackson, grade 2; Kierstynn, grade 3; Devin, grade 4; and Evan, grade 5. Each child received a free Mighty Kids Meal from our local McDonalds, a Bounce Certificate from The Kangaroo Cave, Delphos, and a certificate from WERT Radio. (Photo submitted.)
