Ellinger earns supply chain designation

Denis W Ellinger, CPIM, C.P.M. has earned the APICS (Association for Operations Management) instructor credential. He joins a select group of supply chain professionals who have demonstrated they are dedicated to higher standards of practice in the supply chain function.

APICS is the premier professional association for supply chain and operations management and the leading provider of research, education and certification programs that elevate supply chain excellence, innovation and resilience.

Ellinger is certified to teach three disciplines: Certified Production Inventory Management, Lean Enterprise, and Global Sourcing.

The APICS instructor designation acknowledges supply chain professionals who have demonstrated their experience and proficiency in developing best business practices and the proper utilization of supply chain processes from initial product design, purchasing, inventory control, production control, transportation and reverse logistics.

The program is built on internationally applicable business standards of practice, knowledge, and ethics to differentiate supply chain professionals who have taken the steps necessary to become certified.
