Clothing exchange scheduled

The High School Beta Club will be conducting a clothing exchange during the Parent Teacher Conferences, Nov. 23 and 24. Any member of the Lincolnview Community may donate used/new, good, clean clothes and coats with NO stains, holes, rips or tears can drop them off at either the High School or Elementary School Office. Clothing may be dropped off any day, during school hours until Nov. 20. Sizes accepted can be infant through adult. NOTHING OTHER THAN CLOTHING WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Any member of the community is welcome to pick up items during Parent Teacher hours, 4-8:30 p.m., Nov. 23 and noon-8 p.m. Nov. 24. All clothing will be free of charge, with no questions asked. Signs will direct people to the clothing distribution located in the Elementary side of the cafeteria. Clothing will be divided by gender and size. Bags and boxes will be available for use. Many parents ask themselves how they can afford college for their children. If you have this question, plan to attend a meeting at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 23 in the Lincolnview Lecture Hall. Stephen Semer of Wells Fargo Bank will walk parents through the ways to save for and pay for college. The meeting is intended for any parents of youths in grades 7 through 12. Online registration can be completed at the same time as registration for Parent Teacher Conferences.

A Lincolnview Choir group that competed at last year’s ensemble competition and earned a superior rating with the song “Danny Boy” will be performing “Danny Boy” and The National Anthem for the Veteran’s Ceremony at Memorial Park in Van Wert on Wednesday, Nov. 11.  Attending will be Lainie Jones, Maddie Jones, Morgan Dougal, Makenzie Kraft, Chandler Adams, Braxton Matthews, Cody Hoehn, Andrew Robinson.
