Richard Moeller

Richard “Dick” Moeller, 65, of Rockford, died unexpectedly at his home early Wednesday, September 30, 2015.

He was born August 23, 1950, in Celina, the son of Louis and Mary Catherine (Feltz) Moeller, who both preceded him in death. On May 12, 1984, he married Rosalie (Mathewson) Moeller, who survives in Rockford.

Other survivors include three children, Dan (Amy) Moeller and Melissa Moeller, both of Rockford, and Jackie (Jason) Musser of New Bremen; seven brothers, Robert (Lisa) Moeller of Chickasaw, Rodger (Nancy) Moeller of Celina, Ralph (Susan) Moeller of Rockford, Ron (Dawn) Moeller of Huber Heights, Randy (Shelley) Moeller of Wapakoneta, Raymond (Lynn) Moeller of Mendon and Rodney (Rebecca) Moeller of Washington, Indiana; two sisters, Nancy (Roger) Isaac of Batesburg, South Carolina, and Conita (Brad) Oaks of St. Marys; and six grandchildren.

An infant sister, Victoria, also preceded him in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 3, at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Rockford. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford, with graveside military honors rendered by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713 in Celina.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 2, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford.

Preferred memorials: Masses at St. Teresa Catholic Church.
