Michael L. Tierney

Michael L. Tierney, 64, of New Haven, Indiana, died at 7 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2015, at Genesis Health Care in New Haven.

He was born April 9, 1951, in Van Wert, the son of Mary E. (Bates) Tierney, who survives in New Haven, and the late James Arthur Tierney.

Survivors include two uncles, Ray Bates and Tom (Barbara) Bates, both of Van Wert; an aunt, Ruth Stone of Charlestown, New Hampshire; and several cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, August 31, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 10 a.m. until the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
