Helen Richardson

Helen Richardson, 90, of Van Wert, died at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Vancrest Health Care Center of Convoy.

She was born June 11, 1925, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Nagy) Luliak, who both preceded her in death. She married George F. Richardson, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two children, Tina (Thomas) Miller of Van Wert and Michael W. Richardson of West Lafayette, Indiana; a brother, John (Andrea) Luliak of Oklahoma; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Two sisters, Anna Hook and Mary Wirick, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert, with Father Stan Szybka officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 6, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, where a Rosary service will be held at 7:30 that evening.
