For those not familiar with Operation Round Up, the idea is to give members the option of having their bills rounded up to the nearest dollar every month, with those extra few cents going to benefit people in need within the co-op’s service territory. Paulding Putnam began doing Operation Round Up in July 2010. Currently, more than 8,700 of the co-op’s 12,900 members participate. The Operation Round Trust gave out more than $12,000 this quarter.

PPEC members were thanked for rounding their bills up to the nearest dollar to make these donations possible.

Paulding-Putnam Electric Cooperative Inc. is proud to serve more than 12,000 member-owners in Paulding, Putnam, Defiance, Van Wert and Allen counties in Ohio, and Adams and Allen counties in Indiana. Since 1935, the cooperative has provided reliable power to rural areas with pride. For more information on Operation Roundup, visit http://PPEC.coop.
