Fountain Park beautification

Members of the Evergreen Garden Club once again descended on downtown Van Wert’s Fountain Park to plant the annual planters and hanging baskets for the enjoyment of visitors to the park during the upcoming summer season. This is one of the club’s projects to plant and maintain the flowers in Fountain Park. Each member is responsible to check the water system and pull weeds for one week during the summer days. This year’s chairwoman is Linda Mechling, who coordinates the civic beautification project at the park.
