Correen C. Merschman

Correen C. Merschman, 83, of Lima, died Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.

She was born December 13, 1931, in Landeck, the daughter of Alphonse and Bernadine (Brockhaus) Wieging, who both preceded her in death. She married Aloysius Merschman, who died in 2000.

Survivors include a son, Kevin (Tammy) Wieging of Powell; one brother, George (Nancy) Wieging of Hume; three grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren.

Three sisters, Lucille Merschman, Maryann Hohlbein and Eileen Develbiss, also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, May 22, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Ron Schock officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Fort Jennings.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake will be held at 7:30 that evening.

Preferred memorials: American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
