Jeffery L. Jones

Jeffery L. Jones of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and formerly of Convoy, died Saturday, April 25, 2015, in Marion, Indiana.

He was born October 10, 1953, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Charles and Marietta (Council) Jones, who both preceded him in death. He married Susan U. (Peplinski) Jones, who died April 28, 2012.

Survivors include two children, Heather (Juan) Garcia of Archbold, Carrie (Scott) Martin of Viera, Florida; four brothers, Charles (Susan) Jones of Michigan, James (Sharon) Jones of Michigan, Gary Jones of Indiana and Kevin (Roxanne) Jones of Michigan; two sisters, Laura (Lawrence) Renert of Florida and Janet Jones of Michigan; two half-sisters, Carmen Haltermon and Jackie Parker; and six grandchildren.

Two sons, Eric and Ryan Jones; and two brothers, Leroy Jones and George Jones, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Jay Jones officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.

Calling hours are from 3-6 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at the funeral home.
