Business Plan Challenge workshop set

The next workshop as part of the Business Plan Challenge series will be held at the local Wright State-Lake Campus Business Enterprise Center (BEC) office, 147 E. Main St., Suite C, on Thursday, January 8, from 6-9 p.m.

Participants whose intention is to be part of the Business Plan Challenge attended the first workshop in the series of five sessions on November 13, which focused on the business idea and its value proposition. The second workshop completed on November 20 focused on elements of the business plan and the third, held on December 4, focused on the identification of the customer and development of a marketing strategy.

The workshop scheduled on Thursday will focus on the operational aspects of the business and the investment needed to start a business and cash flow. The final session of the series offers information on how to finance a business and will be held Thursday, February 5, from 6-8 p.m.
