Robert O. Klinger

Robert O. “Bob” Klinger, 79, of Convoy, died at 9:59 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Convoy.

He was born July 12, 1935, in Tully Township, the son of Michael George and Florence May (Osborn) Klinger, who both preceded him in death. On June 5, 1955, he married Erma E. (Moorman) Klinger, who survives in Convoy.

Other survivors include a son, Robert Craig (Nancy J.) Klinger of Convoy; one sister, Martha May (Victor E. “Jug”) Andrews of Chattanooga (Ohio); six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Ruth Marie (Klinger) Collier; two grandchildren, Amanda Joann Klinger and Autumn Dawn Collier; a brother, Michael William Klinger; and two sisters, Elizabeth Ann Yocum and Nancy Jane Whitten, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Friday, December 19, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Wayne Kargas and Pastor Phil Wells officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.
