Local businesses provide YMCA hoops

YMCA of Van Wert information

Nine local businesses came together to donate $12,500 for the installation of four new basketball hoops with height adjusters, and also provided upgrades to four other basketball rims and backboards. This generous donation will allow younger children the opportunity to play on authentic hoops at the correct height for their age, along with providing more playing space within the YMCA.

“With our membership numbers and youth sport participants continuing to grow, these upgrades and additions were a true blessing,” said YMCA Executive Director Hugh Kocab.

These local business donors include Lee Kinstle GM Sales & Service, Foster Family Chiropractic, Treece Landscaping, Van Wert Family Physicians, Wallace Plumbing, Purmort Brothers Insurance, Northwest Ohio Screenprinting and Welch Trophy, Quality Painting and Roofing, and Elmco Engineering.
