Lincolnview Local Schools is proud to announce its annual Veterans Day Celebration to be held on Friday Nov. 7.  We would like to honor the veterans of our Lincolnview student body and staff.  We at Lincolnview are very proud of the men and women who are bravely serving or have served our country.  For this reason, we would like to honor them by announcing their name, branch, and family member(s) with whom they are attending in our High School Gymnasium.  Lincolnview would also like to pay tribute to those who have served that are no longer with us by reading their name in a special memorial portion of the program. Please join us on Nov. 7 at 1:30 p.m. in the High School Gymnasium to help show our appreciation to our Veterans.  A small reception will be held for the veterans and their Lancer family member(s) after the program. Any questions can be directed to Program Coordinator: Stephanie Renner srenner@lincolnview.k12.oh.us or by calling: 419.968.2214 Ext. 2217.

First grade students are finishing up their very own masterpieces at Lincolnview Elementary.  “Matisse Apples” is a lesson based on the Henri Matisse painting called “Apples.” The students trace the circle, stamped it with tempera paint using recycled laundry detergent caps to create the apples. Then students painted concentric circles on the plate using watercolor demonstrating careful hand/brush control. Finally, they finished the painting by adding and mixing more watercolor to fill in the background.
