Power outage scheduled for Sunday

According to American Electric Power (AEP), there will be a planned power outage on the north side of Van Wert and a portion of the rural areas around the city from 2-4 p.m. this Sunday, November 2.

According to AEP, the outage is needed to repair a transformer in the area.

It is not known at this time whether the outage will affect early-voting efforts,  which will take place from 1-5 p.m. Sunday at the Van Wert County Board of Elections office, 120 E. Main St. in Van Wert.
