Max Roebuck

Max Roebuck, 94, of Rockford, died at 5:47 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2014, at the Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.

He was born December 17, 1919, in Rockford, the son of the late Harry and Otie (High) Roebuck. On August 14, 1948, in Celina, he married Myrtle Bernice “Bea” (Sielschott) Roebuck, who survives.

Other survivors include three children, Danny (Linda) Roebuck and Gary Roebuck, both of Rockford, and Janet (John) Hetz of Plymouth, Indiana; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A son, Keith Roebuck; one half-sister, Desamonia Dudgeon; and a cousin, Dale Dudgeon.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 17, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastors Chip Steffy and Sharon Stonerock officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, October 16 and an hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
