Lorraine N. Miller

Lorraine N. Miller, 89, of Van Wert, died Saturday morning, October 11, 2014, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

She was born November 8, 1924, in Paulding County, the daughter of the late Harold and Mildred (Grady) Clear. She married the Rev. Paul W. Miller, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include two children, Bruce (Sandy) Miller of Grabill, Indiana, and Paulette Burnett of Van Wert; a sister, Nancy Parlette of Lima; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Two sisters, Joanne Burk and Carol Kroeger, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Miller was homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Van Wert.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, at First United Methodist Church, with Pastor Gus Christo-Baker officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert.
