Seventh graders participated in Greek Democratic simulation and then discussed the similarities and differences between the Greek form of democracy and the U.S. form of democracy. In Ancient Greece, women were not able to participate in society. Only the native born male citizens were allowed to participate in decision making. These images show the native born males having participated in a play, the foreign born and servants being secluded with the females and all girls in the class had to face the back wall in simulate being home.
