Janet L. Lininger

Janet L. Lininger, 86, of Van Wert, died at 8:12 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2014, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born January 29, 1928, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Erich and Nelle (Bronson) Carpenter. She married Robert Lininger, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include two sons, Richard (Beth) Lininger of Angola, Indiana, and Gary (Carol) Lininger of Van Wert. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Tom Lininger, Erin (Ben) Culler, Katie Lininger and Melissa (James) McKean; and six great-grandchildren.

Janet was a life member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Van Wert. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Lininger Brothers in Van Wert.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, October 17, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, with Pastor William Haggis II officiating.

Calling hours are from 9:30-11 a.m. Friday at the church.

Preferred memorials: Community Health Professionals-Hospice.

Arrangements were handled by Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert.
