On Friday, October 24, the Benefit Council will be holding their second annual Breakfast, from 7-8:15 a.m. The breakfast will consist of “all-you-can-eat” pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, fruit, milk, juice and coffee. The cost for the breakfast is $5. The Benefit Council will use all proceeds to help students who are going through hardships, such as extreme medical problems, natural disaster or a loss of a parent. Please join us in the cafeteria and support this worthwhile fundraiser.

Don’t forget the upcoming Veterans Day Celebration being held on Friday, November 7, at 1:30 p.m. in the High School gymnasium. The celebration is in honor and appreciation of our veterans. Forms have been sent home with students and need to be returned no later than November 3 in order to assure that your veteran gets recognized. A small reception will be held for the veterans and their Lancer family member(s) after the program. If you have any questions or need another form, please contact program coordinator, Stephanie Renner, srenner@lincolnview.k12.oh.us or by calling 419.968.2214, extension 2217.

The Lincolnview Local Education Association would also like to remind you about our Scrip Program. With Christmas approaching fast, now would be a great time to start thinking about gift cards for that special someone on your list. We have put a link on the school’s website, located on the right under Parents and Students, to help you with the process. All proceeds from this program go to provide three seniors with $1,000 scholarships that are renewable for the second year. It is the perfect program for you to purchase cards of your own for the places that you frequent, including groceries, gas, books, clothes, restaurants, etc.
