New music/dance studio opens in VW

The husband-and-wife team of Richard Humbach and Sarah Hope Wells of Van Wert announce the opening of their studio, The Bachwell, in downtown Van Wert. This center for the performing arts will include private lessons in piano, voice, guitar, and oboe, along with a dance academy for children and adults.

Over the winter, the Bachwell will be expanded to include recording capabilities, suitable for soloists as well as multi-instrumentalist bands and full-scale music production. The Bachwell Building, located at 116 N. Washington St., in the former Anderson Architects building, will also be available for community events.

An open house will be held on Saturday, September 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All are welcome, and refreshments will be served. Classes begin Monday, September 15.
