Simon & Garfunkel in the park

The Guthrie brothers, Jeb and Joc, brought a ray of sunshine to lighten up overcast skies Friday with the acoustic folk-rock sounds of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel as part The Van Wert County Foundation’s Summer Music Series in Fountain Park. In spite of the rather gloomy weather, a nice crowd came out to hear the duo play hits such as “I am a Rock,” “Mrs. Robinson” and “The Sounds of Silence.” (Dave Mosier/Van Wert independent)
