Helga S. Murphy

Helga S. Murphy, 76, of Van Wert, died at 4:38 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born December 10, 1937, in Mannheim, Germany, the daughter of the late George and Maria Hormuth.

Survivors include two daughters, Rona (Steve) Tramell and Andrea (John) Lahmon; five grandchildren; two sisters, Lisa McTiernan of Aurora, Colorado, and Gerda (Karl) Ullrich of Germany; and one brother, Heinz (Gunda) Hormuth of Germany.

There will be no visitation or funeral services.

Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert handled arrangements.
