Blue Ribbon Workers have July meeting

The Ohio City Blue Ribbon Workers 4H club met on June 22. The meeting was called to order, reports from last meeting was read and group members began presenting their demonstrations.

Those with demonstrations this month were: Lauren Walls, “how to make a strawberry smoothie”  Abbi Marbaugh and Lexie Bowen shared with the group on “how to care for a cow.”  Next, Ben Brown demonstrated “how to tie a knot,” and Alexa Gearhart taught the group “how to make a lava lamp.”

Once demonstrations concluded, Colt Marbaugh spoke to the group members on pedestrian safety.

Business discussed was: reminder for members to sign online for their project judging times, continue to collect supplies for the pet shelter, and ideas were shared on how to decorate the Lambert Days Float. The next meeting will be 2 p.m. on July 13 at the church in Ohio City .
