Crime Stoppers will pay you cash for information if it will help the Van Wert County Sheriff’s Department solve a burglary that occurred in Pleasant Township.

Crime Stoppers logoOn October 15, at 9:10 a.m., a resident was approached by another woman, who claimed she was from the electric company and needed to remove some electrical lines. While the woman kept the attention of the home owner, a male subject who was driving a two-toned, red over silver Ford truck, went and burglarized the home.

The female is described as white, early 20s, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, thin build with short sandy-colored hair. The male is described as white, early 30s, 5-10 to 6 feet tall, short light-colored hair and may have trouble speaking.

Harding and Mercer couinties are having similar complaints filed.
